Timothy C. Boller
Timothy C. Boller was born in Waterloo, Iowa on July 17, 1956. He graduated from Columbus High School in Waterloo in 1974. He graduated from the University of Iowa with high distinction in 1978 where he obtained degrees in political science and economics. He attended the University of Iowa College of Law where he graduated with distinction in 1981. He was a member of the Iowa Law Review.
Mr. Boller has practiced exclusively in Waterloo, Iowa since 1981. He has been a partner with Gallagher, Langlas & Gallagher since 1987. Mr. Boller concentrates his practice on medical malpractice defense, professional negligence, personal injury, employment and municipal law.
Mr. Boller was a judicial nominating commissioner from 1999 - 2006. He was a member of the Iowa State Bar Review School from 1982 - 1998.
Mr. Boller is a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers; Iowa State Bar Association; Black Hawk County Bar Association; Iowa Defense Counsel Association; Defense Research Institute; and the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Boller has spoken at continuing legal education seminars on topics including employment law and trial litigation.
Mr. Boller is very active in his community. He is a member of the Cedar Falls Exchange Club where he has served as President and been named Exchangite of the Year. He is a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa where he has served on Parish Council and as Chairperson of the Social Concerns Committee. Mr. Boller is an avid cyclist and a member of the BikeTech Racing Team. He also enjoys weightlifting, running, music and travel.
