Thomas C. Verhulst
Thomas C. Verhulst joined the law firm of Gallagher, Langlas & Gallagher in July of 1988. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1988. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1985 from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, majoring in history and political science. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Iowa School of Law in 1988. Mr. Verhulst was born in Yankton, South Dakota on March 28, 1963.
Mr. Verhulst’s primary areas of practice include civil litigation, real estate, probate, business law and personal injury claims. He is a member of the Black Hawk County and Iowa State Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Iowa Association for Justice.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Verhulst is a member of the Downtown Waterloo Rotary Club. He has served as attorney/coach for the Dike-New Hartford Mock Trial teams. He also serves on the Board of Adjustment for the City of Dike, Iowa. He serves on the Planned Giving Committee for the Red Cross. He is a member of Fredsville Lutheran Church, near Dike, Iowa.
Mr. Verhulst is married to his wife, Jennifer, and they have three daughters, Lauren, Marin and Olivia. Mr. Verhulst enjoys playing golf and basketball, and attending his daughters’ school activities in his spare time.
