David A. Roth
Mr. Roth, born in Mason City, Iowa, 1963, has practiced his entire career in Waterloo, Iowa. He commenced practicing law in 1991, and has been in continuous practice ever since, and has been with Gallagher, Langlas & Gallagher since 1992.
He is a member of the following professional associations: the American, Iowa State and Black Hawk County Bar Associations. He is former president of the Black Hawk County Bar Association, and has also served that organization as secretary, treasurer and vice-president. Mr. Roth currently serves the legal community as the Governor for the First Judicial District on the Iowa State Bar Association. Mr. Roth has frequently spoken at legal seminars throughout the state of Iowa.
Mr. Roth graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, in 1988 with degrees in Communications, History, and Geography. He received his JD degree from Drake University in 1991, where he was active in student government.
Mr. Roth’s current practice includes family law, criminal law, insurance defense and personal injury representation.
Mr. Roth has been very active in the community. Residing in Hudson, Iowa, he has served as president of Main Street Waterloo, been active in the Waterloo Jaycees, the afore referenced Black Hawk County Bar Association, and other community interests. Mr. Roth is also active in coaching youth football, baseball and basketball.
